To perform the butterfly kicks with one arm pull exercise, start in a streamlined position on your stomach with your face in the water and arms extended forward. Perform two dolphin kicks, then initiate the arm pull by sweeping one arm down and out to the side with the palm facing outward, turning the palm downward as it reaches the hips. As you complete the arm pull, lift your head up and forward out of the water to take a breath. Keep the other arm extended forward and repeat the process with the other arm. Focus on maintaining a fluid and coordinated motion between your arms and legs.
